Mexico sent 10,000 troops to the US border.

Mexico has deployed 10,000 soldiers along the US border to prevent the illegal crossing of migrants after Donald Trump threatened tariffs of 25% on Mexican goods. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum promised to send the National Guard to strengthen the border and curb fentanyl smuggling, which led to a delay in the introduction of tariffs. At least 1,650 soldiers will be sent to Ciudad Juarez, and nearly 2,000 to Tijuana. Trump had previously declared a state of emergency.
