From June 20 to 22, the 15th edition of the Sirius Open, an international paratennis tournament, will take place in Zagreb, gathering top athletes from around the world. The tournament is held at the Maksimir Tennis Center and is part of the Uniqlo Wheelchair Tennis Tour. This year, over 30 players from 13 countries are expected to compete in men’s, women’s, and junior categories. Among the participants are the world’s leading junior Maximilian Taucher and the second-ranked junior Luna Gryp, which further raises the competition’s quality. Sirius Open is the oldest international tennis event for parasport athletes in Croatia with a 15-year tradition, aiming to raise awareness about parasports and encourage young people with disabilities to engage in sports.
