Alarming Exodus of Serbs from Kosovo: Đurić Appeals to France for Urgent Help

Serbs are fleeing Kosovo like it’s the end of the world!

Did you know that in just two years, 20% of the Serbian population has left Kosovo and Metohija? Yes, one-fifth of Serbs have abandoned their homes due to relentless pressures, provocations, and systematic persecution under the regime of Albin Kurti.

Marko Đurić, Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, made it crystal clear: the situation is alarming and demands urgent action. During talks with a delegation of French parliamentarians, he emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between Serbia and France, a key pillar of support on the European continent.

French MPs, including Frédéric Petit, Marine Hamelet, and Pierre Pribetich, visited Serbia to assess the situation and support the normalization process between Belgrade and Priština. Đurić stressed the necessity of establishing the Community of Serbian Municipalities and protecting the basic human rights of Serbs in southern Serbia.

This is not just political talk – it’s a matter of survival for the Serbian people in Kosovo. Systematic pressures and persecutions are not just statistics; they are a harsh reality forcing people to leave their homes, churches, and history behind.

Will Europe finally stand for justice, or will it allow the Serbian population in Kosovo and Metohija to become an ethnically empty zone? While political dialogue continues, people are leaving.
