Imagine this – young man Milos Ajkovic, an ordinary guy from Kosovo and Metohija, went through hell at Jarinje. Why? Because he proudly wore the Montenegrin national costume and the tricolor, symbols of his faith and people. Instead of respect, he faced brutal torture by the so-called Kosovo police. His nose was torn, his cap kicked off, his ancestors’ flag ripped, and the cross from his neck was torn off! All because Milos refused to renounce his faith and honor. The police beat him, insulted him, cursed everything Montenegrin, and forced him to say what was hardest for him – “Kosovo republic.” Is this freedom and justice? No, it’s shame and humiliation that must not be forgotten.
Milos didn’t ask for pity or play the hero. He just survived what no one should endure. And while official Montenegro stays silent, Milos says this experience won’t break him but will motivate even more visits to Kosovo and Metohija. Because, as he says, “there is no land holier than Kosovo and Metohija.” This is not just one young man’s story; it’s a story of torture, hatred, and injustice happening right before our eyes. What about you? What would you do in his place? Share your thoughts, because these things can’t go unnoticed!
