Novi Sad to Get Business Complex Over 20,000 Square Meters

Novi Sad is gearing up for a business boom: a complex over 20,000 square meters on the site of the former Novkabel factory!

Are you ready for a new business hub in the heart of Novi Sad? Investor NFK Park plans to build a massive business complex on parcels of 79 square meters, totaling over 20,000 square meters! Yes, you read that right – over 20 thousand square meters of office space, meeting rooms, gyms, and even a large auditorium spanning three levels.

Where and what is being built?

On the site of the former Novkabel cable factory, in the Sever 2 industrial zone, reconstruction and extension of existing industrial buildings are planned. The medium voltage hall, a dual-purpose shelter “Lab,” and the “Ero” transformer station will be transformed into office spaces with all accompanying facilities.

What to expect?

  • Open green atrium spaces inside the hall
  • Two main entrances on the east and west sides
  • Multiple floors of office spaces, up to six floors in some buildings
  • Parking spaces for over 150 vehicles distributed in two construction phases
  • Meeting rooms, tea kitchens, sanitary blocks, gym

Why is this important?

This project is not just another building. It signals that Novi Sad is seriously entering the race to become the regional business center. With over 20,000 square meters of modern office space, the city will attract domestic and foreign investors, create new jobs, and raise business standards.

But is it all sunshine and rainbows?

Like any big project, this one has its challenges. Urban plans include transparent fencing and access control, which may raise questions about space accessibility and environmental impact. Also, how traffic and infrastructure will adapt to this huge complex remains to be seen.

Conclusion

Novi Sad is getting a business complex that will change the city’s face. With over 20,000 square meters of office space, modern amenities, and green atriums, this is an opportunity for growth and prosperity. But, as always, the question remains – will everything be executed properly, and will citizens truly benefit from these changes?

What do you think about this project? Does Novi Sad need more investments like this, or is it time to focus on something else? Drop a comment, let the people’s voice be heard!
