On the highway near Horgoš, a driver of a car with Macedonian license plates lost control, veered off the road, and flipped the vehicle, killing the passenger on the spot while the driver was seriously injured and taken to a hospital in Subotica. The investigation was conducted by a prosecutor and traffic police, and the driver will face criminal charges for a serious offense against public traffic safety. But this is not the only tragedy on our roads today.
Near Pančevo, a collision between a truck and a car ended with the death of the car’s driver and serious injuries to the passenger. The car veered into a ditch beside the road, and traffic was halted for the investigation. Police, firefighters, and emergency medical services responded quickly on the scene. This accident is yet another grim reminder of how dangerous our roads are and how crucial it is to obey traffic laws.
