The Mystery of Luka Bojović’s Testimony: Who’s Really Behind the Plot to Kill Him?

Luka Bojović in Court: Mysterious Witness or Key Player?

Walking into the courtroom with Luka Bojović was anything but ordinary. Kurir’s journalist, Slađana Nedeljković, described how, while handing over her ID, she spotted Bojović himself. It was a 50/50 chance he’d show up, but he did—serious and focused, dressed in a black shirt and gray pants, with a watch on his left wrist.

Bojović answered questions from the prosecutor, judge, and lawyers but didn’t recognize any of the accused and refused to blame them. He clearly stated he did not want to press charges against them.

Though shown photos of cars and locations, Bojović couldn’t confirm with certainty if they were his vehicles, though the images reminded him of his armored Audi A8s.

He described the building where he lives but didn’t give the exact address for safety reasons. He only learned about the plot to kill him ten days before his testimony when the police informed him his security was at risk.

Dejan Radenković, a former MUP official, pointed out that Bojović most likely doesn’t know the accused and that they probably received orders from a third party. Weapons were found with erased serial numbers, phones were forensically examined, and messages like “I’m ready” point to solid evidence.

What remains a mystery is who the mastermind is. Why is Bojović so important that someone wants him dead? His daily life is far from free—he changes his routes constantly and is always under protection, which is a bigger sentence than prison.

Radenković believes Bojović has high security awareness and coordinates with security services. If he’s involved in anything illegal, authorities will find out and prosecute.

Clearly, Bojović’s assassination could lead to tracing figures like Radoje Zvicer and others who are wanted.

Who’s the real brain behind it all?

While we have potential perpetrators, the mastermind remains unknown. Is it some hidden power network or a bitter enemy? All we know is this case is far from over, and the truth will slowly come out.

Why should we care?

Because this isn’t just a story about one man. It’s about the system, security, justice, and how easy it is to become a target in a world where the lines between law and crime are blurred.
