Thanks to a quick-thinking dad who grabbed his wife and baby and pulled them out of harm’s way, a disaster was narrowly avoided. “I was under the branch with my child when my husband heard the crack, grabbed my hand, and pulled us aside. We escaped by a hair’s breadth, just a meter away… I can’t even imagine what would have happened if a child had been underneath,” one eyewitness said.
