Ivana Šašić Reveals: Thank You Husband for Cheating, Now I’m Stronger!

When life throws you a lemon, Ivana Šašić makes lemonade! The 51-year-old singer openly shares the hell she went through after discovering her husband cheated on her with a woman 14 years older. But instead of breaking down, Ivana is thankful – because that betrayal revealed her husband’s true face and freed her from a toxic relationship.

Shock and Pain – But Also New Strength

Ivana never saw the cheating coming. Everything seemed perfect until it all collapsed like a house of cards. Her husband, Bojan Simić, was caught having an affair with a nurse 14 years his senior. The divorce followed, but Ivana doesn’t regret it – on the contrary, she thanks him for cheating because it was the only way she could get rid of him.

“Thank him, otherwise I couldn’t have gotten rid of him,” the singer says. “My mistake was the choice, but I fix my mistakes!”

It wasn’t easy to survive all that. “There were calls every day, all day,” Ivana recalls. But now, after everything, she can’t easily trust anyone anymore. “There’s nothing that could win me over now, I just want a normal person. I despise lies!”

Why Do Women Stay in Marriages Full of Cheating?

Ivana also delivers a harsh critique of women who endure cheating for their own interests. “Many stay silent because of their interests, because of the kids, because of fear. But kids don’t save a marriage, kids hear and see everything!” she says.

“If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. Get divorced and do whatever you want!” Ivana urges, smashing myths about enduring for the kids or social expectations.

Lies and Betrayal – The Biggest Enemies

Ivana is known for not tolerating lies. After the cheating, her philosophy is clear: “I can’t trust anyone anymore, neither men nor women, because women cheat too!”

She’s now on a new path, free from lies and toxic relationships. “Just be a normal person, that’s all I need,” the singer says.

What Can We Learn from Ivana Šašić?

Her story is a warning and an inspiration. Cheating hurts, but it can also be liberating. Enduring isn’t heroic, and staying in a bad marriage for the kids or fear is a myth that needs to be busted.

Ivana reminds us it’s better to be alone and happy than in a fake relationship. And that truth, no matter how painful, is the only path to freedom.
