Vučić Lies About Blockade Support While People Lose Patience

Vučić claims every day that the blockades are losing public support, but the truth is way worse! While Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić manipulates numbers and lies about his ratings and protest support, the people are at their wit’s end due to daily road blockades in Belgrade and other cities. The protests have been going on for seven days, the police are exhausted, and clashes and arrests keep happening. Although the blockades started as a spontaneous reaction to incidents during the Vidovdan protest, turnout has steadily decreased, and support among opposition-leaning public is dropping. Political analyst Nikola Parun points out that turnout for the blockades is far below expectations, and students completely boycotted the work stoppage on July 1. Analyst Dragomir Anđelković says Vučić uses internal polls and focus groups, so he knows his rating has catastrophically fallen and that he would lose elections even against last year’s SNS and SPS voters. Despite this, the president avoids elections and hides behind lies, while his closest associates probably laugh behind his back. Editor Đorđe Vukadinović adds that Vučić manipulates media and ratings, never admits to a drop in support, and citizens are willing to endure inconveniences only if they believe in a clear protest goal. However, these blockades lack such support, and Vučić’s claims of rising popularity are just another manipulation. If you think this is just another political game, think again — the people are on the streets, and Vučić is playing with the truth like a cat with a mouse. What do you think — is Vučić really losing support or just pretending? Drop a comment, let the people’s voice be heard!
