Trump’s Fiery Attack on Putin: Ukraine War and US Support on the Brink

Donald Trump is back at it, throwing verbal grenades at Vladimir Putin! The US president has once again slammed the Russian leader, blaming him for the failure to end the three-year war in Ukraine. “We get a lot from Putin, if you want to know the truth,” Trump told reporters during a cabinet meeting, making it clear his patience is running thin.

Trump admitted that achieving a ceasefire has been tougher than he expected. “It turned out harder, just harder,” he said, but didn’t miss the chance to praise the Ukrainians as brave and highlight that the US has given them the best equipment ever made. However, Putin last week flatly rejected Trump’s call for a ceasefire, adding fuel to the fire.

The American president has ramped up support for Ukraine, sending additional weapons, including 10 Patriot missile interceptors, just days after ordering a pause in deliveries. Trump also privately told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky he wants to help Ukraine with air defense amid intensifying Russian attacks.

Putin, on the other hand, claims he was forced to launch a full-scale invasion to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO and being used as a launchpad for attacks on Russia. Kyiv dismisses these claims as baseless.

Trump made it clear he made no progress in talks with Putin and is disappointed the Russian president hasn’t stopped the war. “Honestly, I’m disappointed,” he said Monday night.

As Russia launches its biggest missile and drone attacks in over three years of war, Trump announced the US will continue sending weapons, mainly defensive, because the situation in Ukraine is very tough.

This escalation in rhetoric and military support shines a new light on a global crisis that has dragged on for years. Will Trump’s sharp stance on Putin bring a breakthrough or just deepen the conflict? What do you think about this American pressure and Putin’s refusal?
