Temperatures have plummeted like a rock! This morning, southern and eastern cities like Niš and Dimitrovgrad were scorching at 33°C, but Belgrade has already felt the chill at 23°C. Earlier today, Belgrade hit a blistering 34°C, only to drop by a staggering 20 degrees! Vojvodina recorded just 18°C this morning, while the east and southeast were near 40°C!

But wait, the drama isn’t over! A new wave of rain and thunderstorms will hit western and southwestern Serbia overnight and tomorrow morning. Expect a noticeable cool down with temperatures between 20 and 25°C. Friday promises partly cloudy and pleasant weather, and the weekend will bring back sunny summer vibes.

Today is shaping up to be a real weather bomb! Mostly cloudy, windy, and noticeably cooler, with occasional rain and thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from 13 to 23°C, a stark contrast to yesterday’s scorching heat.

A moderate to strong northwest wind will blow, with stormy gusts expected in the east. Belgrade will be cloudy with intermittent rain and thunderstorms, holding steady around 23°C. Early morning rain will bring temperatures down to just 15°C.

The coldest spot will be Zlatibor at a chilly 10°C, while Negotin and Vranje will enjoy a comfortable 21°C.

The Republic Hydrometeorological Service has issued yellow and orange weather alerts for rain and thunderstorms, so it’s time to take warnings seriously. Yesterday, Serbia was hit by a supercell storm covering much of the country, and today more weather challenges await.
