Tenth Attempt to Kill Alibeg!
Nenad Alajbegović, aka Alibeg, the former leader of the Partizan fan group, has once again survived a brutal attack. Last night in New Belgrade, an unknown assailant fired multiple shots at him while he was sitting in his car. This marks the tenth assassination attempt on the 44-year-old man, and almost none of these cases have been solved.
The Brutality and Persistence of the Attackers Are Shocking
Five years ago, Alibeg was seriously wounded during the night of June 21-22 in front of his building. A video of the ambush, which went viral on social media, shows a man wearing a protective mask approaching the building’s door, followed by gunfire. Alibeg fell to the ground trying to protect himself but managed to crawl inside and save his life.
Later that same year, in November, he was targeted again. While exiting his car, someone started shooting at him. Two bullets hit him, but he remained conscious and managed to get on a bus, then a taxi, which took him to the emergency center.
Who Wants to Kill Alibeg?
Alibeg claims he has no legal troubles and hasn’t attended football matches for a long time. He lives off income from his construction company in England, and the state can check his payments anytime. Yet, the attacks continue, and the police have not identified the perpetrators.
Last Night’s Attack in New Belgrade
Around 8:10 PM, an unknown person fired four or five bullets at Alibeg while he was in the driver’s seat of his car. Two shell casings were found at the scene. Although he was not injured, this attack adds to the long list of assassination attempts.
The police are actively working to identify and find the attacker but have had no success so far. Clearly, someone is determined to eliminate Alibeg, but why? And who’s next?
Conclusion: A Mystery That Has Lasted for Years
Ten assassination attempts, no solved cases, and a man still living in fear. Nenad Alajbegović, once a fan leader, is now a symbol of injustice and system failure. As the attacks continue, the public remains in suspense, and the question remains: how long will this go on?
