Hellish Heat, Fires, and Hurricane Winds: Serbia on the Brink of Disaster!

Serbia is on the brink of a weather disaster! The hellish heat that gripped the country has now exploded into raging wildfires, with hurricane-force winds threatening to tear everything apart. In the Šumadija district alone, about ten active fires were recorded, and an emergency situation has been declared in Kuršumlija due to the spreading inferno. Two firefighters and four civilians have been injured battling the flames, and the army has been called in to help extinguish the fires! Meteorologist Goran Mihajlović from RHMZ warns of storms with hurricane-force wind gusts, hail, and heavy rain. Temperatures in Belgrade hover around 34 degrees Celsius, but cooler air is already arriving from the north, bringing relief and rain that will help douse the fires. However, the danger is far from over – a hydrological warning is in effect due to low river levels, with drought leaving rivers on the edge. Citizens are urged to stay alert, follow official updates, and seek shelter in sturdy buildings during storms, avoiding shelter under trees. These supercell storms are rare but when they hit, they bring true disaster – hurricane winds and hail that can cause chaos. June was not only scorching but also extremely dry, worsening fire conditions. If you think this is just another weather forecast, think again – this is a wake-up call!
