Belgrade witnessed a fiery spectacle on July 6 that set the souls and hearts of the audience ablaze!
At the OpenAir Corner of Belgrade’s port, an impressive flamenco concert titled “Flamenco Show Aromas of the South” brought true Spanish passion to the Serbian stage. The main star? Renowned Spanish pianist Diego Valdivia and his seven-member group of musicians and dancers, delivering an unforgettable audiovisual experience.
Who performed? Alongside Diego Valdivia, the stage featured guitarist Daniel Valenzuela, percussionist Yolanda Poso Cahon, violist Juan Miguel Camacho, violinist Ana María Castillero, and flamenco dancers Mario de los Santos and Judit de la Rosa. The audience enjoyed original compositions as well as unique interpretations of famous Spanish classics and music from popular films.
Young talent opened the evening The concert was opened by young Belgrade artist Dora Trifu, only 13 years old but already a winner of 20 international awards. Dora plays cello and flute and considers herself a cellist. Her participation in prestigious festivals, including the International Piano Festival in Turkey, speaks volumes about her exceptional talent.
Why is this concert special? This event was not just a musical performance but a true fusion of dance, music, and the atmosphere of southern Spain, tailored for a modern audience. Organized by StrangeFear and the International Opera Foundation, with the patronage of the Spanish Embassy in Serbia and Montenegro, the Provincial Culture Foundation of Cádiz, and others, it showed that culture can unite people and awaken emotions.
