Salaries of employees in the public administration and culture will be increased by 8%, while employees in education will receive an 11% increase on their January salary. Finance Minister Siniša Mali emphasized that these increases are part of a strategy to improve the living standards of citizens. The goal is for the average salary to reach 1,400 euros by the end of 2027, while the minimum wage has been increased by 13.7% and now amounts to 457 euros per month.
