A police officer sustained serious injuries during an intervention on Hilandarska Street when a man, L.V., cut him on the right hand with a knife. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody, while the police officer was kept at the microsurgery unit of the Emergency Center. The incident occurred when a police patrol responded to a report of a man with a knife. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivica Dačić, confirmed that the injured officer is being held for treatment, while the investigation continues in collaboration with the prosecution.
