The Fascist Cocktail of Montenegro’s Ruling Majority: Spektra Says NO!
Something alarming is brewing in Montenegro. The association Spektra is shouting from the rooftops: we will NOT accept the fascist methods and goals of the ruling majority! Yes, you read that right. According to Spektra, the ruling majority is serving us a political disaster – erasing Montenegro’s values, culture, disrespecting the constitution and laws, and even police brutality.
An Award That Offends
The awarding of the July 13th prize to Bećir Vuković has sparked outrage. Spektra claims this is a direct attempt to devalue this honor, which symbolizes Montenegro’s antifascist heritage. Why? Because the award was given to an author who glorifies the Chetnik movement and denies the existence of the Montenegrin nation! Is this a joke or serious politics? The Speaker of the Parliament, Andrija Mandić, and his colleagues, say Spektra, are using this opportunity to flood public discourse with nationalist propaganda.
Police as a Repressive Tool
The violence against Montenegro’s cultural being is not just a metaphor. Yesterday, in front of Vila Gorica, we witnessed police brutality against citizens expressing dissent. According to Spektra, the police have become a tool of the ruling class, and such authoritarian methods are unacceptable in a democratic society.
Call for Resistance and Accountability
Spektra calls on the entire society to decisively and clearly oppose these methods. They demand accountability and resignations of those responsible for citizens’ security. Appeals to Speaker Mandić and Prime Minister Spajić, who is their hostage, have so far yielded no results. The normalization of neo-fascist actions has been ongoing for years, with increasing protests from citizens.
Time for the Harshest Political Sanctions!
Spektra says it’s time to strip the power-hungry elites of their precious seats and stop the destruction of democratic values. Citizens have the right to disobedience when the government blatantly ignores national and international legal systems and the values embedded in Montenegro’s existence.
Conclusion
Montenegro stands at a crossroads. Will we allow our values to be erased, fascist methods imposed, and the police turned into a repressive apparatus? Or will we stand together and say – enough? Spektra is a voice we cannot ignore. What about you? Ready to join the fight or just watch Montenegro change before your eyes?
