Director sentenced to 4 years for abusing child actress.

The Court of Appeal in Paris upheld the sentence of director Christophe Ruggia for sexual assaults on actress Adèle Haenel when she was a child, sentencing him to four years in prison, two of which are suspended. Adèle Haenel, a well-known French actress, accused Ruggia of inappropriate behavior during the filming of “The Devils” when she was 12 years old. Ruggia denies the charges, and his lawyer plans to appeal the verdict. Haenel has announced her withdrawal from the film industry due to collaboration with sexual offenders.
