IShowSpeed’s European Tour: Scandals, Madness, and NBA Stars

Think the internet is boring? Think again! The world’s most popular YouTuber, IShowSpeed, has sparked a frenzy all across Europe, and Croatia was just the wild kickoff to his chaotic journey.

Madness in Split

On Split’s Ježinac beach, Darren Jason Watkins Jr., aka IShowSpeed, jumped into the sea in front of thousands of fans. His live stream from Split was watched by over four million people! Imagine that – crowds on the streets, fans screaming, begging for autographs and graffiti, while he runs through the city wearing the Croatian national football team jersey. All this under the watchful eyes of bodyguards and with a massive online audience on YouTube and Twitch.

Croatia had the honor of being the first stop on his massive European tour, which also includes Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, and France. This tour is the result of collaboration between his manager Mark Bennett and Damjan Rudež, a former NBA player and director of the Sunset Sports Festival.

Scandal in Sarajevo

But not everything was smooth. In Sarajevo, chaos erupted. During a live stream lasting over three hours and gathering nearly two million views, an incident occurred. While IShowSpeed stood by a car surrounded by many children, some threw things at him and showed him the middle finger. At one point, frustrated, he jumped into the crowd of kids, causing panic – people fell, screamed, and some boys cried. Videos show his bodyguards had to intervene to get him out of the crowd. In the end, he approached a crying boy and hugged him, showing he does have a heart.

NBA Star in Greece

After Sarajevo, IShowSpeed went to Greece, where he was hosted by none other than Giannis Antetokounmpo, an NBA star and probably the most famous Greek. Giannis took him through his childhood neighborhood in Athens, and they played basketball together on the court where Giannis started his career. When IShowSpeed challenged him to a sprint, Giannis coldly declined, saying he doesn’t want to deal with “that nonsense” and that maybe he’d have a chance only if he trained two years just in athletics.

Who is IShowSpeed?

Darren Jason Watkins Jr. was born on January 21, 2005, in Cincinnati, Ohio. In just three years, he became one of the biggest internet stars with 41 million YouTube subscribers. He started as a streamer playing NBA 2K and Fortnite but quickly became known for his charismatic and often chaotic style. Now his content includes reactions, music, and IRL (in real life) streams, and he’s especially known as a football fan.

What’s Next?

IShowSpeed’s tour is just beginning, and he plans to visit several more European countries. Will he manage to avoid new scandals, or will he surprise us again with some wild stunt? One thing’s for sure – it won’t be boring.

If you thought this was just another YouTuber, think again. This guy is a real phenomenon pushing the limits of online entertainment and causing chaos wherever he goes. So, what do you think about his antics? Is he just entertaining or way too chaotic? Drop a comment, maybe together we’ll figure out how to stop him… or just laugh even harder!
