Naked and Proud: Helena and Simon Walk Naked Across the UK and Couldn’t Care Less About the Critics!

Ever thought about taking a stroll completely naked in a park? No? Well, Helena Beriman and her husband Simon do it regularly and couldn’t care less about the criticism! This British naturist couple decided to live life on their own terms, walking naked in the nature of the UK, not just for fun but also for charity.

It’s Not Illegal to Be Naked in Public – As Long As You Don’t Disturb Others!

In Wales, UK, it’s not against the law to be naked in public, provided it’s not intended to disturb or shock others. Helena believes public nudity should remain legal and describes it as a refreshing and liberating feeling – the sun on your skin, the wind in your hair, and total freedom.

How Did It All Start?

Helena (47) discovered naturism thanks to her husband Simon, whom she reconnected with on Facebook after years apart. After the COVID-19 lockdown, Simon suggested they join an organized naked walk together. Helena admitted she almost choked on her coffee from surprise but found herself on her first naked walk the very next day. Since then, their love for naturism has only grown.

Charity Naked Walks? Yes, That’s a Thing!

The couple regularly organizes naked walks across the UK to raise money for charity. Helena says she was initially worried about how passersby would react, but mostly they get smiles and waves, even from a postman in a van! Their message is clear: “It’s not boring, not hard, not weird. Try it, you might like it!”

What About the Critics?

Despite facing criticism, Helena and Simon refuse to back down. They emphasize there are far more important things to worry about in the world than nudity in a quiet park corner. Their courage and openness about body and nature inspire others, especially women, to embrace their bodies and break free from social taboos.

The Bottom Line: Naked and Free!

Helena and Simon prove that public nudity doesn’t have to be scandalous; it can be an expression of freedom, confidence, and humanity. In a world full of stress and restrictions, their story is a refreshing reminder that sometimes you just need to shed all the layers and be – naked and proud.
