The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, visited Kyiv and warned of the risks of attacks on Ukraine’s power system, which could lead to a nuclear accident. Grossi toured a key power substation and spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, which is controlled by Russia. Zelensky emphasized the need to regain control over the nuclear plant and expand IAEA activities in the region. Grossi plans to visit Russia to discuss these issues.
