The legendary Ferrari 250 LM, winner of the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans race, will be offered at RM Sotheby’s auction, where it is expected to fetch a price of 21 million pounds. The car was part of the North American Racing Team, led by Luigi Chinetti, and achieved Ferrari’s only Le Mans victory through a private team. This is the only Ferrari from the Enzo Ferrari era that participated in six 24-hour races. After the last race in 1970, it was owned by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. The car is in exceptional condition.
