Brnabić in Israel: Is Serbia Finally Strengthening Ties with Jerusalem?

Ana Brnabić, the President of the National Assembly of Serbia, will visit Israel from July 7 to 9, where she will meet with top officials including the Speaker of the Knesset Amir Ohana, President Isaac Herzog, and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar. This visit comes amid a record foreign trade exchange between Serbia and Israel, which has reached 3 million euros, marking a significant increase in bilateral relations. The delegation will also include Milovan Drecun, head of the Serbia-Israel parliamentary friendship group, and Aleksandar Nikolić, director of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce representation in Israel. The development of relations between the two countries is based on historical closeness, especially the shared suffering of the Serbian Jewish community during World War II. This visit could be a key step in further strengthening political and economic ties, as well as symbolic reconciliation and recognition of shared history. Will Serbia seize this opportunity to lay the foundation for long-term cooperation with Israel? Share your thoughts, because this is just the beginning of what could be a major story!
