This actually happened in Turkey, where a plane had to make an emergency landing at Elazig airport after lightning hit its tail. The pilot quickly changed course for safety reasons, and passengers were transported by land. But wait, there’s more! In Germany, a Swiss airline SWISS plane made an emergency landing in Friedrichshafen due to smoke in the rear cabin.
