Imagine this – Zagreb is drowning, and a hospital on Rokfelerova Street is literally swimming in water! Early this morning around 6 AM, a torrent of water suddenly flooded the hospital yard, and firefighters immediately jumped into action, setting up red barriers like a scene from a disaster movie. Water penetrated the hospital’s basement areas, and firefighters managed to redirect the flood and save the day, but not before water reached a height of five centimeters on the streets. Did a pipe burst, or did nature decide to drown us all? Jutarnji list does not rule out the possibility of a pipe burst, while the water level is slowly receding, the danger is not over yet.
This flood is not just a local problem – it’s a wake-up call for the entire city! Imagine water entering a hospital, a place where the most vulnerable are treated! Firefighters fought like heroes, but how many more surprises like this can we endure? Is the city’s infrastructure ready for such challenges, or are we heading for an even bigger disaster?
As the water recedes, a bitter taste remains – will the authorities finally grasp the seriousness of the situation? What do you think – is this just the beginning of bigger problems, or will Zagreb manage to fight back nature? Drop a comment, let’s see who’s optimistic and who’s already packing their boots to flee the city!
