Police vs Students: Novi Sad Under Siege Over Law Faculty Exams!

This morning in Novi Sad, a real drama unfolded! While blockade students tried to stop the law faculty exams, the police were on high alert and prevented chaos. The exam was organized in the Novi Sad Fair premises, and blockade students appeared with the intention to block the entrance. But the police did not allow it. Professor Janko Veselinović, president of the Preokret movement, clearly stated he does not approve of the blockades, saying they only create divisions within the academic community. He pointed out that the dean of the law faculty does not support the student demands, but all faculties have already made plans to make up the exams. Extremism is harmful, Veselinović said, calling for unity and focus on goals. This situation sheds light on deep divisions among students and the academic community, while the police continue to maintain order. Is this the start of a new era of campus conflicts or just another day in Serbia? Jump into the conversation — these topics don’t settle without your two cents!
