The Higher Court in Belgrade issued a decision on February 4th temporarily suspending the decision of the Bar Association of Serbia to completely halt the work of lawyers, in order to ensure a minimum process of work necessary for the protection of the basic rights and interests of clients. Proposals for additional temporary measures that would prohibit the Bar Association from making decisions without a minimum process of work were rejected. An appeal against this decision is allowed to the Court of Appeal, but the appeal does not delay the execution of the decision. The Bar Association of Serbia on February 2nd
