The Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, submitted his resignation on January 28, 2025, which was addressed to the President of the Assembly, Ana Brnabić. Vučević stated that the process of his resignation is irreversible and that he will not be a candidate for the formation of a new government. On the same day, the Mayor of Novi Sad, Milan Đurić, also submitted his resignation.
