POLICE OPERATION SHAKES BELGRADE!
Have you heard about the latest drama in Belgrade? Police raided an apartment and found a staggering 50 kilograms of marijuana! Yes, you read that right – fifty kilograms! But that’s not all – they also found two pistols, 23 bullets, over four and a half kilograms of heroin, and more than three kilograms of cocaine. This isn’t a movie scene; it’s reality in the heart of Serbia.
Interior Minister Ivica Dačić didn’t hide his shock and said that two people were arrested on suspicion of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, as well as illegal possession of weapons. They have been detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought before the prosecutor’s office.
This operation is part of a broader fight against drugs in Belgrade, but such quantities of drugs and weapons in one apartment are truly alarming. How is this even possible in the capital city? Is this just the tip of the iceberg?
Police also found precise scales for measuring drugs, clearly indicating an organized criminal group. These actions send a clear message: Belgrade will not be a safe haven for dealers and criminals.
But let’s be real – how many more such apartments are out there? How much drug trafficking is really happening on the streets? And why now, in the middle of the tourist season?
If you have thoughts on this or maybe know more, feel free to share in the comments. Is this the beginning of the end for the drug business in Belgrade or just another drop in the ocean of problems?
