A horrifying case out of Ohio has left many stunned – Angelina Williams, 28, has been sentenced to at least 19 years in prison after her six-year-old son was brutally attacked by a pitbull while bound and completely defenseless. Judge Dave Stimpert of the Ashland County Municipal Court condemned her actions, stating she allowed her child to be used as a chew toy for the dog. The nightmare began when Williams punished her son for refusing to pick up dog poop with his bare hands. In a fit of rage, she handcuffed his wrists and ankles and attempted to tie him to a chair with a rope. At that moment, the pitbull owned by Robert Mihalski Jr. attacked the boy, sinking its teeth into his neck and refusing to let go. The child suffered severe injuries, including deep cuts to his neck, with court photos showing large bruises on his face and neck. The judge described the injuries as horrific and almost indescribable, saying the dog tried to rip out his throat. The dog’s owner fled with the animal after the attack, likely to avoid having the dog taken by authorities. Williams pleaded guilty to charges including kidnapping, obstruction of justice, possession of illegal items, and four counts of child endangerment. Before her arrest in August, she took her son and eight-year-old daughter to the village of Savanna, Ohio, where she used handcuffs and ropes as discipline and even posted photos of her daughter bound online. During the trial, she admitted to most facts but claimed ignorance of the illegality of handcuffs and denied intent to harm the children. Despite the trauma, the boy has fully recovered and, along with his sister, is now under guardianship receiving proper care and protection. Two men connected to the case, Robert Mihalski Jr. and Taylor Marvinbraun, who was Williams’ romantic partner, are also awaiting sentencing. Angelina will serve her sentence in an Ohio women’s correctional facility.
