Radovan Arežina on Dangerous Blockades and the Aim to Spark Conflicts

Have you seen what’s happening in Novi Sad? Radovan Arežina, assistant to the Minister of State Administration, doesn’t hold back calling the blockades in front of political officials’ homes dangerous and risky moves. The blockers have taken it a step further — not only causing chaos on the streets but now targeting the addresses of officials, aiming at their homes! Is this the start of a new level of political tension or just another scene from a political soap opera? Arežina claims the blockers’ goal is to provoke conflict and fear, and the consequences are already visible — economic problems and damaged social trust.

In Novi Sad, blockades have been organized in front of buildings where Mayor Žarko Mićin and SNS President Miloš Vučević live. Arežina warns that such targeting of politicians’ family homes is not only problematic but dangerous for social stability. The goal is to pressure officials into resigning, and the support of opposition councilors for the blockers further complicates the situation. All this leads to escalating tensions, and Arežina predicts protests will continue after the summer holidays, possibly with violent outcomes.

The police, using a Gandhian approach, try to balance between reacting and avoiding escalation, but blockers use every opportunity to provoke and seek reasons for new protests. Overall, the situation in Novi Sad looks like it’s on the edge of an explosion, and the citizens are the ones who will suffer the most. Is this really a fight for justice or just a political game without rules? Share your thoughts, maybe you have the solution to this chaos!
