Have you ever seen little tennis players fight for every point on shortened courts? In Montenegro, on July 12 and 13, the Tennis Association of Montenegro and the Tennis Club Elitte Bijelog Polja successfully organized the third annual Children’s Tennis Festival! Eighteen boys and girls aged six to nine participated. Matches were played on shortened courts adapted for children, in red and orange tennis categories. Anastasia Stojanović was the best in orange tennis, while Filip Grgurević took the top spot in red tennis. But this is not just a local event – the Tennis Association plans to continue promoting tennis across Montenegro with upcoming festivals in Nikšić and Ulcinj. The goal? To popularize and massively involve children in tennis. Sounds like a great plan, right? Will these kids become the next Djokovićs or Nadals? Only time will tell. Meanwhile, let’s smile and ask – who was the last to hold a racket? Maybe it’s time to get back on the court and show the youngsters how it’s done! Comments are open, so feel free to drop a joke or a challenge! Tennis is for everyone, and these kids prove the future is bright and full of energy.
