Security Chaos in Montenegro: Who Will Resign Over the Worst Situation Ever?
Montenegro is in chaos, and the security situation has never been worse! Sonja Popović, spokesperson for DPS and a member of the Montenegrin Parliament, spares no words describing the state of the country. In the last six months, from January to July, a staggering 19 people have been killed! Yes, you read that right – 19 murders in half a year! And what about those who are supposed to protect the citizens? No sign of accountability!
The Streets Have Become a Battlefield
In just the last three days, there have been two brutal murders, and the president of the Budva municipality, Nikola Jovanović, was brutally beaten. Despite months of reports about threats from criminal groups, the system has completely failed. The police even hid information about a passerby who was wounded, which only fuels suspicions of incompetence and corruption within the security services.
Who Is to Blame?
Popović directly accuses Deputy Prime Minister Danilo Šaranović and security services coordinator Aleksa Bečić of complete incompetence and demands their resignations. Instead of dealing with real problems, the heads of the security sector are busy with self-promotion and filming promo videos. The result? Chaos on the streets and citizens afraid to leave their homes.
System Collapse and Mafia Interests
DPS claims the security sector is in total collapse due to the ignorance and incompetence of its leaders. They also allege that security services have subordinated citizens’ safety to mafia interests. Is this just political rhetoric or a real diagnosis? Given the number of murders and violence, it’s hard not to believe the seriousness of these accusations.
Call for Urgent Action
DPS calls on Prime Minister Milojko Spajić to urgently dismiss the incompetent and arrogant leadership of the security sector. Citizens are in panic, and the government ignores the alarming situation. Will someone finally take responsibility, or will we watch Montenegro sink into crime and chaos?
Conclusion
Montenegro is on the brink of a security collapse. Daylight murders, criminal groups ruling the streets, and leaders unwilling to take responsibility – it sounds like a bad movie script, but unfortunately, it’s reality. If nothing changes, the question is who will be the next victim and how much longer will citizens endure this chaos.
What do you think? Who is to blame for this security fiasco? Is it time for mass resignations, or will it all end with empty promises? Drop a comment, let your voice be heard – maybe you have the solution to this mess!
