The City Council of Sremska Mitrovica has adopted a draft decision on amendments to the management of public parking areas, aiming to improve parking organization and protect the rights of persons with disabilities. The amendments include stricter penalties for irresponsible parking, a ban on parking in spots designated for persons with disabilities, on pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as at bus stops. Penalties for violations have been increased, and service users must provide feedback on the quality of services once a year.
