The municipality of Thira on Santorini has declared a state of emergency due to a series of earthquakes, which will last until March 1st. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis plans to visit the island. The strongest quake, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, alarmed residents, prompting the evacuation of tourists and locals. Experts are considering the possibility of additional earthquakes.
