In 2012, Marina Stefanović planted an aronia plantation near Zaječar. Her motivation for growing aronia was its medicinal properties, and she received help from her brother who lived in Greece. In the first year, she planted half a hectare and already had a yield. She dedicated herself to proper cultivation, including the use of manure and irrigation during the summer.
