Actors from theaters in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sombor, and Zrenjanin have decided to halt work and go on a seven-day strike. They announced the decision on social media, emphasizing their united stance that stopping work is necessary. This is the first time in the history of Serbian theaters that they have decided on such an action, inspired by the students’ call to fight for the functioning of institutions and a responsible approach to their own profession. The actors express full solidarity with the students and support their demands.
