Schools must stay open; 82% will work fully, 11% mostly.

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, emphasized the importance of school operations, expecting 82% to function at full capacity, while 11% will operate mostly with some teachers not holding classes. The remaining schools will be in lockdown, which is illegal. Even during the strike, classes must last a minimum of 30 minutes. Vučević announced the continuation of discussions with unions regarding higher education and legal amendments, including the duration of classes and the organization of teaching staff. The Prime Minister highlighted government efforts, such as increasing teachers’ salaries.
