At the 40th anniversary Plitvice Marathon, which gathered about 800 competitors from 33 countries, Kenyans dominated both the men’s and women’s competitions. John Kipkemoi Chepkiyeng won the men’s marathon, while Lina Jepkemoi Kaino took first place in the women’s category. Our runner Ines Jozić secured third place in the women’s marathon. Kenyans also dominated the half marathon, with Croatian Ivan Dračar finishing second. The race was held under tough conditions due to high temperatures and a challenging course with significant climbs. Organizers were praised for the great atmosphere and excellent event management.
