Election Results in Kosjerić and Zaječar: SNS and Opposition Declare Victories

Elections in the municipalities of Kosjerić and Zaječar were held with a high voter turnout. In Kosjerić, Aleksandar Vučić’s list ‘Ne damo Srbiju’ won 49.23% of the votes and 14 seats, while the opposition list ‘United Kosjerić’ won 48.54% of the votes and 13 seats. The results were very close, with the opposition first declaring victory, followed by SNS doing the same. In Zaječar, SNS achieved a decisive victory. The observer mission CRTA pointed out possible irregularities at polling stations that could affect the final results, especially in Kosjerić where the vote difference is minimal. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić confirmed SNS’s victory in both municipalities, emphasizing that SNS narrowly won in Kosjerić and decisively in Zaječar.
