Several dozen Palestinian prisoners have been released as part of a truce agreement between Israel and Hamas, arriving in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip. Video footage shows a bus carrying the prisoners arriving near Ramallah, where they are greeted with applause by those gathered, despite an Israeli ban on celebrations. The prisoners had previously been returned to prison due to incidents during the release of Israeli hostages. Israel delayed the release of 110 prisoners due to “chaotic scenes” during the hostage exchange.
