Montenegro Railway Transport (ŽPCG) and Montecargo have called on young people, regardless of their completed secondary education, to apply for retraining and part-time schooling for the profession of train driver. The costs of retraining are fully covered by ŽPCG and Montecargo. After successful completion, candidates have the opportunity to join the team and secure stable employment in Montenegro’s modern and efficient railway system.
Political Perspectives:
Left: Left-leaning outlets emphasize the social benefits of the retraining program, highlighting the opportunity for youth employment, social inclusion, and the importance of investing in public transportation infrastructure to support sustainable development.
Center: Center-leaning sources focus on the practical aspects of the retraining initiative, such as addressing the shortage of qualified railway personnel, ensuring stable employment for young people, and the modernization of the railway system as a key component of national transport strategy.
Right: Right-leaning media stress the economic efficiency and self-sufficiency of the program, highlighting that the costs are covered by the companies themselves, promoting workforce development without additional public spending, and framing the initiative as a way to strengthen national infrastructure and competitiveness.
