At the beginning of March, new information about the purchase price of raspberries is expected. The Minister of Agriculture, Aleksandar Martinović, has appealed to buyers to pay an additional 300 dinars per kilogram. A working group, established to improve the raspberry sector, will soon hold a meeting. Producers hope for a positive implementation of the minister’s recommendation, but the cold storage owners have not yet expressed their stance. The average purchase price for the “Willamette” variety was 250 dinars, and producers are expecting an additional payment. Raspberry exports bring significant revenue to Serbia.
