In the collision between an “American Eagle” plane and a military helicopter over Washington, 60 passengers and four crew members were killed. Captain Jonathan Campos and First Officer Samuel Lilley, along with a steward and stewardess, perished in the accident. The collision occurred while approaching Reagan Airport, and there are no survivors. Timothy Lilley, the officer’s father, expressed shock and sorrow over the loss of his son. The investigation is ongoing, and the families of the victims are in the process of grieving.
