Enhanced Vessel Controls on Lake Skadar

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs of Montenegro has launched an enhanced vessel control operation on Lake Skadar to improve water traffic safety. During the first day of intensified controls, numerous violations were observed, with about 70% of inspected vessels not complying with navigation rules and being fined. Minister Filip Radulović announced zero tolerance for lawbreakers and daily controls throughout the summer season, including the use of drones to identify violations. All water traffic participants are urged to behave responsibly to ensure safe and pleasant navigation for everyone.
