Protests and Electoral Crisis in Šavnik and Surrounding Municipalities

In Šavnik and surrounding municipalities, protests have been ongoing for months due to an institutional electoral crisis. MP Vasilije Čarapić announced plans to initiate a meeting with opposition representatives to propose models for resolving the crisis. The protests involve road blockades which have been temporarily suspended with signs of a possible resolution, but if no agreement is reached, blockades will continue. Similar protests and road blockades are occurring in other municipalities such as Nikšić, Plužine, and Andrijevica, where citizens demand their rights and solutions to problems with local authorities.
