Adoption of the Alimony Fund and Political Reactions in Serbia

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, expressed satisfaction with the adoption of the law on the alimony fund, highlighting broad support including from part of the opposition. She also criticized opposition blockers for alleged attempts to file lawsuits against President Vučić and for disrupting the work of clinical centers, stating that their accusations are unfounded and harmful to Serbia’s reputation. She also condemned threats against journalists and false accusations from the opposition, stressing the importance of stability and respect for institutions.
