Inheritance and Sale of Vlasta Velisavljević’s Apartment in Belgrade

The famous actor Vlasta Velisavljević, who passed away on March 24, 2021, lived in an apartment in the center of Belgrade with his wife Nada. After her death, the apartment was inherited by Nada’s relative, who soon sold it. The apartment is located on Cara Dušana street, has about 80 square meters and a terrace, and was not luxuriously furnished but reflected the warmth of Vlasta and Nada’s life. The sale of the apartment attracted public attention and comments on social media, where people wondered why the relative did not want to live in the property. Nada was an architect and responsible for the apartment’s interior design. Vlasta and Nada had no children, and the relative took care of them while they were alive.

Political Perspectives:

Left: Left-leaning sources tend to emphasize the human and emotional aspects of the story, focusing on the personal loss of the actor and his wife, the sentimental value of the apartment, and the social commentary on property ownership and inheritance. They may highlight the modesty of the apartment despite the actor’s fame and the emotional impact on those close to him.

Center: Center-leaning sources report the facts straightforwardly, focusing on the timeline of inheritance and sale, the location and size of the apartment, and the public reaction. They provide balanced coverage without much editorializing, presenting the story as a notable event related to a public figure’s estate.

Right: Right-leaning sources might focus on the property and financial aspects, discussing the sale price, the real estate market in Belgrade, and the decisions made by the relative to sell the apartment. They may also touch on respect for the deceased’s wishes and the practicalities of managing inherited property.
