Ambition of Regional Countries to Join the EU Requires Commitment to Reforms

Montenegro’s President Jakov Milatović participated in the SEECPC summit in Tirana, emphasizing that the ambition of Southeast European countries to join the European Union requires unwavering commitment to implementing reforms. He highlighted the importance of regional cooperation, rule of law, anti-corruption efforts, human rights advancement, and strengthening democratic institutions as foundations for stability and prosperity. He also stressed the significance of joint infrastructure projects for the region’s economic security. The SEECPC summit gathers 13 countries aiming to strengthen good neighborly relations and cooperation in political, security, and economic areas.
